Photography Rules:
• All photo entries must have a subject related to agriculture.
• Each exhibitor is allowed to enter only two (2) entries.
• All images must be original and taken by the entrant.
• Photos may not be altered in any way. No digital enhancement, computer editing, or
photo stacking.
• Any photos entered in 2019 may not be entered into future Walker County Ag Festival
photography contests. Any art entered in 2017-2018 Ag Festival is not qualified.
• Each photograph must be no larger than an 8”x10” photo fixed in a matte with maximum
dimensions of 11”x14”. We will attach photos to display boards with clips. Photographs not
matching the required criteria will not be eligible for entry.
• ABSOLUTELY NO FRAMED PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
• The back of each photograph must bear name, telephone, and division being entered.
• Utmost care will be taken in hanging and displaying of photographs. The Walker County Ag
Festival and associates are not responsible for mishaps or damages.
• Entries will be received on Friday September 20 between 5:00 and 8:00pm at the Walker
County Ag Center.
• Upon registration, each contestant will be required to fill out entry tags for each photograph.
• Entries will be judged prior to the opening of the festival on September 21.
• Any entry that does not meet the rules and regulations as specified for the category entered
will not be eligible for judging and will be displayed as exhibition only.
• The directors reserve the right to refuse any entry if it is deemed offensive or a
negative manner.
• Entries may be removed on Saturday September 21 between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Entries not
picked up will be discarded. First, Second and Third Place ribbons will be awarded.

- TEEN YOUTH 13-18 years old
- ADULT 19-61 years old
- GOLDEN Age 62+
- PROFESSIONAL Experienced photographers & those who have been paid for their work
