Needleworking

Needlework/Quilting Rules:
  1.  Entries will be received on Friday, September 20 from 5 pm – 8 pm.
  2. Upon registration, each exhibitor will be required to fill out entry tags.
  3. Each exhibitor is allowed one entry per class.
  4. All needlework/quilting must be produced by the exhibitor
  5. The utmost care will be taken in hanging and displaying of needlework and quilts.  The Walker County Ag Festival and /or volunteers will not be responsible for mishaps or damages.
  6. Judging will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 8:00-9:00 am and will not be open to the public.
  7. 3 places and ribbons will be awarded in each class
  8. Entries will remain on display until 5:00 pm, Saturday September 21 and can be picked up between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
  9. Any items remaining after the festival ends will be donated or discarded.

1. Crochet

  • B) Scarves/other outerwear
  • C) Baby items
  • D) Household items (doilies, table runners, pot holders, ornaments)

2. Knitting
  • A) Afghans/bedspreads

  • D) Household items (doilies, table runners, pot holders, ornaments)

3. Cross-stitch

5. Quilting              
  • A) Hand stitched – any size
  • B) Machine stitched – any size
